How much time should you spend preparing for my job interview?
The average person spends around 15 minutes preparing for their first job interview.
This number increases to 30 minutes or even longer for those who are applying for senior positions.
Preparing for an interview takes time, effort, and practice. There are several things you can do to prepare for your next interview but the best is, to begin with practicing these basic questions.
Basic Interview Questions

Behavioral Interview Questions
-What was the last major project you worked on, and what was its result?

-Can you describe a situation where your work was criticized?
-What was your greatest failure, and how did you overcome it? And what did you learn from it?
-How do you deal with annoying people?
-If I were your boss and asked you to do a task that you didn’t agree with, what would you say?
-What was the most challenging time in your life, and what did you do to cope with it?
-Have you ever been part of a team where one person wasn’t pulling his or her own weight? What did you do when it happened?
-Describe a situation where you had to give someone tough feedback. How did you handle it?

Describe a situation where you had to deal directly with conflict at work.
-If you were at an office lunch and you ordered a really rare steak and they brought you the meat well done, what would your reaction be?
-If you had to complete several tasks by the end of today, and there was no way that you could possibly complete them, describe how you would handle the situation.
