Hence, being a teacher, you can have a decent life and can also enjoy many other facilities which many normal people cannot afford.
Teachers can work indoors:
As a teacher, another advantage is that you do not have to work outdoors. While many people who have to do their work outdoors, have to face many kinds of problems.
For example, a garbage man who has to work outdoors in any weather conditions, it may be cold winter or hot summer, but they have to do their job in every situation.
While you on the other side can enjoy an artificial working environment, which means you do not have to worry about the outside condition of nature. You just can do your job in a school or in any academic place.
Teachers do not have to do hard physical work:
Being a teacher, you do not have to do hard physical work. as many people in some other job posts, like a construction worker who have to lift many heavy objects and have to work hard for their living.
But you just have to keep patience for teaching your students. Also, you can get back home with some energy as compared to those people who have to work hard in their careers.
Moreover, those people who work hard in a physical manner have to face many health issues like back pain in the future. But you may not have to deal with this kind of health issue in the future.

Another upside of being a teacher is that you will have a high social status in society. As a teacher, your work will be to teach people many new things and your target will be to make them establish their career, for which you will get blessings from the people and this will make you feel proud of yourself and you will stay motivated for a long period of time.
Teachers can avoid classical office job:
Being a teacher, you can also avoid classical office jobs. People who have to do their work in a classical office job manner are also tired of their job. They have to sit in their cabin or in an office room in front of a computer screen all day long.
They are also bound to reach their targets given by their higher authority or boss. But as a teacher you do not have to do work in a classical office job manner, rather you will get much work freedom in this career.

Also, you can get back to your home faster than many other people in some other jobs. That means you can also give a lot of time to your family and friends.

Working as a teacher you can get free weekends and holidays. This means not only you can get your evening free but also you can plan a trip with your family or friends to enjoy your weekends or holidays.
Disadvantage of Being a Teacher
Teachers cannot get rich:
Being a teacher, one disadvantage is that you cannot get rich in this profession. Though you can make some decent amount of money which will help you to pay all your bills and you may also afford some of the luxurious items but that cannot make you that rich.
Hence, if you are the type of person who only loves to make only money and wants to have a luxurious lifestyle, then this profession is not meant for you.
Teachers cannot work from home:
Another disadvantage of being a teacher is that you cannot do your work from home. You should always be present in person while you are teaching your students.
While in some other professions people who do classical office jobs can get this advantage of teleworking. They simply can do their work by sitting in their home with a good internet connection.
Students can be difficult:
Being a teacher, you may also get some difficult students. All the teacher has to deal with the tough students in a class.
As you know not all students have the same capabilities to understand a topic, you have to keep patience to teach them. You may also get some students who will always make fun of you and try to demotivate you.
You often need a college degree to become a teacher:
One of the big disadvantages of being a teacher is that you will need a college degree to become a teacher. Which means you just cannot start earning after completing your high school. You have to spend some more years for your college degree. Hence, to become a teacher you will need to spend lots of money as well as time.
The student loan may be a headache for you:
As we discussed in the previous point, you will need a college degree for this teaching career, for that you will need a huge amount of money. If you do not have that many savings for your degree then you may have to take a student loan for your college fees and studies.
Student loans can make your college life easy but you have to give the amount back so it remains a headache for your future.
