As many of your friends can start earning in some profession where there is no need for a college degree. Moreover, you will have to spend some more years getting a college degree. And also, you have to spend a large amount of money.
Student loan debt can become a headache:
As we discussed, you will need a college degree and for that, you will need a big amount of money. For that, you should have good savings, or otherwise, you have to take help from a student loan from the bank.
Student loans can make your college life easy but you have to keep in mind that you have to return those loan debts to the bank with some percent of interest.
For that, the students get a headache of loan debt in their future. Hence, it is also a disadvantage of being a translator.
Translator have to stare at a computer screen for most of the time:
As a translator, most of the time your work will be in a classical office job manner. So, for that reason, you have to sit in your office cabin in front of a computer screen all day long. For that reason, most translators get serious problems with their eyesight sooner or later.
